Santa Rosa County students recognized

MILTON — Here are highlights involving area students:

Three hundred ninety-two students have been named to the Union University Dean's List for the fall 2018 semester. The Dean's List includes full-time students who achieve a 3.5 grade point average on a four-point scale. The following student is from Santa Rosa county:

  • Caleb Morgan of Pace

Baylor University conferred degrees on more than 900 graduates during fall commencement exercises Dec. 15, 2018, in the Ferrell Center on the Baylor campus. The following graduate is from Santa Rosa County:

  • Joanna Givens of Navarre, Bachelor of Science in Nursing, Nursing

A local student has graduated Cum Laude and earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Maryville College.

  • Kathryn Liggett of Pace, Outdoor Studies & Tourism

Liggett also made the Dean's List for the fall 2018 semester at Maryville College.

Consideration for the Dean's List is open to full-time students who have a grade point average of at least 3.6 in all work undertaken, no grade below a "C" and no incompletes for the semester. 

Troy University is pleased to announce students who have been named to the Chancellor's List for the Fall Semester and Term 2 of the 2018/2019 academic year.

Full-time undergraduate students who are registered for at least 12 semester hours and who earn a grade point average of 4.0 qualify for the Chancellor's List.
