MILTON — On July 13, Santa Rosa County Human Resources Manager Cindy Williams earned the Society for Human Resource Management Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) designation.
The SHRM-CP is a behavioral competency-based certification for human resource generalists and is regarded as the global standard in certification for the human resources profession.
“We are extremely excited that Cindy earned her SHRM-CP designation. She has worked very hard and diligently to obtain this professional goal," said GinNeal McVay, human resources director. "Her designation further adds to the nationally recognized professionalism of the county’s human resources department.”
Those with the SHRM-CP designation participate in various types of professional development activities to keep their knowledge and skills current and relevant. To maintain the credential, SHRM-certified professionals must earn at least 60 professional development credits every three years.
