MILTON — Santa Rosa Medical Center has opened a new combination clinic called Santa Rosa Medical Group Primary Care and Walk-In Clinic.
The new facility, which had its ribbon cutting ceremony on Jan. 25, is located at 4264 Avalon Boulevard in Milton.
This facility is the newest expansion in the Santa Rosa Medical Center’s growth in the county. They now provide medical services in Milton, Pace and Navarre.
“We work off a three year strategic plan,” said Rod Sisk, chief financial officer of the Santa Rosa Medical Center. “We will expand to meet the growing population of the county to better serve the community.”
The main structure of the clinic was already in place and served as a primary care facility for families in the area. Dr. Edwin Taylor specializes in family medicine and is assisted Jessica Royce, ARNP. Those services will continue for their patients without interruption.
Additions were made to the building for an X-ray room, which is nearing completion. In addition to X-rays the clinic will provide all the services you would find in an urgent care clinic.
The clinic also expanded their services to include walk-ins. Walk-in services will be provided by nurse practitioners Casey Schneider and Michael LeVaugh.
The clinic is open Monday through Saturday from 7:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.
