Jasmine Alday of Milton High School is congratulated by LaGrange College President Dan McAlexander for her participation in the college's 2014 Presidential Scholarship Day on Feb. 8. Students who have demonstrated the highest levels of academic achievement and leadership were invited to attend the annual scholarship competition. A four-year liberal arts and sciences college affiliated with the United Methodist Church, LaGrange College is consistently ranked in the top 10 among Southern colleges by U.S. News & World Report. The college, an award winner in sustainability, is the oldest private institution of higher learning in Georgia.
