Navarre alum completes basic military training

MILTON — Air Force Airman Aaron T. Mentch graduated from basic military training at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, San Antonio, Texas. 

The airman completed eight weeks’ training in military discipline and studies, Air Force core values, physical fitness, and basic warfare principles and skills. 

Basic training graduates earn four credits toward an associate in applied science degree through the Community College of the Air Force.

Mentch earned distinction as an honor graduate.

He is the son of April and Jason Mentch of Navarre. Mentch is also the brother of Jena Mentch.

He graduated from Navarre High School and the University of Central Florida in Orlando.
