While archeology brings to mind dusting-off ancient runes, here in Santa Rosa County, archeologists often need wetsuits to complete their work. Tomorrow at 4:30, the Imogene Theater will host a series of lectures on shipwrecks of the Blackwater River. Guest speakers will be Dr. Greg Cook (search for the HMS Mentor), Ben Wells (Maritime Heritage Trail), Zack Cruz (19th century lumber mill), and Andrew Derlikowski (the City of Tampa). The series is free to attend and sponsored by The Blackwater Pyrates.
