Artwork created by local high school seniors is currently on display at the Dragonfly Gallery in Milton. Submitted art pieces from seniors in Santa Rosa County high schools are on display in the gallery feature room until Thursday evening.
From paintings to pottery and even textiles, the art show features the top 25 selected art pieces from a panel of art enthusiasts with the Santa Rosa County School District. Sally Miller, a representative from the local art gallery, said the school district’s administrative building currently features even more artwork made by high school seniors.
In addition to viewing the artwork during regular gallery hours, residents are also invited to come the art exhibit’s reception on Thursday night from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. The Dragonfly Studio, which is located at 6815 Caroline Street in Milton, is open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday.
