Speak Out February 21

Sunday 9:18 p.m.

Hello this is Jerry. In reference to the Speak Out on calling the School Board members on the buses being late, I’ve called twice and asked for Mr. Wyrosdick personally. Obviously, he’s got too much on his plate that he can’t even return a phone call. It’s not that they’re only late but they’re overcrowded tremendously, which really creates a hazard condition, yet nothing’s done about it. Maybe this one will scratch the door a little bit and maybe he’ll hear it.

Chrys here. Former presidential candidate Howard Dean’s vitriolic attack on Scott Walker smacks of jealousy. He says the president should have a college degree. I say performance and experience supersedes a degree. The Governor of Wisconsin’s cool, calm, and collected decisions in extremely trying times and his successes qualify him. In contrast, our current president has a degree from Harvard, established by Christian clergy. They would turn over in their graves to learn of his decisions and non-decisions while in office. Thank you.

This is some information that I’ve found that probably got stuck back in a crack. The United States Government after the 97th Congress passed public law 97-280 on October the 4th 1982, the 96th statute 12/11 public law 97-280 states that renewing our  knowledge and faith in God through the Holy Scriptures can strengthen us as a nation and people. Under public law 97-280 any person or organization attempting in any way to prevent American citizens from voluntarily acquiring that knowledge of and faith in God through the Holy Scriptures would be attempting to weaken America. They would be guilty of trying to frustrate our nation. Such actions would be a violation of the plain intent of public law 97-280. Schools activity opposed any Bible study group to interfere in any way with any Christian study. All elementary and high school  principals superintendants, college presidents should be urged to take immediate steps to add courses in Bible study to their schools’ curriculum. They’re saying that this is a law by the act of Congress that we do practice Christianity in our schools and anybody interfering with it is in violation of that law.

Let’s think a minute. If all the prisoners are moved from GITMO, the president will say there is no need to pay to keep it open. Then, he will give it back to Cuba. All he has to do is cancel the lease and it goes back to Cuba. Roy Minor.

We live on Hamilton Bridge Road. We are so happy that our neighbors enjoy their barking dogs because we do not. From early evening ‘til night our neighbor’s dogs bark and bark and bark. I hope they enjoy them; we do not. Thank you.
