Monday, all are invited to honor fallen service men and women for Memorial Day ceremony at the Veteran's Memorial Plaza in downtown Milton. The guest speaker will be Deputy Commodore Captain Mark Murray. Whiting Field’s chaplain will give the invocation and the Sea Cadets will present the colors. The City of Milton Mayor Wesley Meiss will speak as well as other county officials. Activities include presentation of wreaths by various military organizations, the ringing of two bells ceremony by Fleet Reserve Association Branch 210, a 21-gun salute, and the playing of Taps by Milton High School. Julianne Miller, 11, will sing the national anthem.
