Event organizers with the Scratch Ankle Festival is offering organizations the opportunity to participate in this year’s annual community event in downtown Milton, scheduled for April 10.
“Non-profits clubs as well as church and school organizations are the original groups who helped offer the food and other items which helped to make Scratch Ankle what it was,” said Katie Nichols, the Events Coordinator for the City of Milton Parks Department.
The 10-foot by 10-foot booth spaces are available on a first come, first serve basis. Regular booth spaces are $35 with electricity and $20 without electricity. Food and beverage booths are $45 with electricity and $30 without electricity. Booth spaces are limited.
The booth space is not transferable to a private vendor, as spaces are for non-profit organizations only. If more than one booth space is needed, event organizers asks a application be submitted for each booth space.
Participating organizations will need to attend a mandatory meeting at 6 p.m. on March 19 at the Guy Thompson Community Center. All participating groups are required to a representative present at the meeting, in which booth assignments and other requirements will be discussed.
To obtain an application, contact Nichols at the Guy Thompson Community Center, formerly known as the Milton Community Center, located at 5629 Byron Street in Milton. The phone number is 983-5466.
