Speak Out July 22

Thursday

This is Ann and this is a reply to Tony’s message. I agree with him and all you people ranting and raving. Why don’t you rant and rave about the legal murders committed in this country everyday? The number one drug problem is alcohol and what are these people around here doing trying to get more alcohol and sell it on Sundays, so we can have more drunks on the road also killing people. Thank you.

Friday

My name is Tommy and I live in Jay, Florida. I have called the pound about two dogs on chains to have some freedom. These dogs have been on chains for 11 years. The pound keeps saying there is nothing they can do about it. For all of these years I have never seen anyone walk these dogs, play with the dogs or loving these poor dogs. Now these dog’s houses are falling apart and the grass weeds are so high around them. You can’t see nothing but their heads popping up above them. How sad. I want somebody to do something in this county to do something for these animals and they call themselves humane.

Friday

Hi, this is Mary, a concerned senior citizen. I haven’t seen my last call in where I gave the scripture verses and I would like to see that put in the paper where people can read it. Although I have a message for those people who do not love our country. They don’t love our history. They don’t love our freedom. They don’t love their privileges, but yet they want to stay here.  If they hate our country so much why don’t they go home. That is what I want to know. Thank you.

Friday

Yeah this Bobby, I just saw on TV where Planned Parenthood was caught undercover talking about selling body parts of babies. That is kind of sickening and I don’t know why people want to continue with abortion. I know it’s legal but back when it started there was a stigma about having a baby out of wedlock. That is not anymore. Most of the babies in the world are born out of wedlock.  If you mess up and get pregnant there is always adoption. Use birth control. Thank you.

Saturday

Good afternoon, thank you for taking my call. All of the talk recently with where the new courthouse should be built, a couple of things come to my mind. If I remember correctly, by combining the votes of East Milton and the Highway 90 location a total of both places exceed the votes for the downtown location receiving, which is an indication to me that the majority of voters do not want to spend the unnecessary money on land purchases and other charges available at no extra costs other than new building. I noticed a location in East Milton has been cleared. Hmmm. Is this something going on that I have not been aware of. Thank you.
