The community is invited to attend a family oriented hysterical hypnotism show at the Milton High School auditorium on Thursday night. The event, which is sponsored by the school’s band, will feature hypnotist and New Jersey native Larry Greenberg.
According to a press release from Milton High School, as part of his show Greenberg will need volunteers from the audience.
“In fact, the individuals who volunteer for the show are the ones who will have the most fun,” Greenberg said in the release. “You will laugh and applaud for your friends and family up on stage, as you have never seen them before. For instance, the quietest introvert will often times become the biggest star.”
Greenberg said the goal is not embarrass the audience members who volunteer to be part of the show, but to “highlight and accentuate the talents and creativity” of the volunteers.
In the press release, Greenberg challenges any doubters of hypnotism to come and be a part of the show on Thursday night. Proceeds from the event will benefit the MHS Band, said Gray Weaver, the school’s director of bands. Weaver said the proceeds will be used towards the purchase of new band equipment. Tickets are currently being sold at the MHS band room, tickets will also be sold at the door prior to the event. For more information on the event, contact
Weaver at the MHS band room at 983-5611.
