Deputies with the Santa Rosa County Sheriff’s Office reported a woman threw kittens out her vehicle window as she was traveling down Grady Tolbert Road on Highway 87 on Friday. A witness called the sheriff’s office and reported the incident. Reports said Veronica Famoso Gordon, 39, Navarre admitted to the accusations when questioned. Only one of the kittens were found and taken to a local veterinarian clinic for treatment. No updates were reported at press time. Gordon was charged with felony animal cruelty and held on $5,000 bond at the Santa Rosa County Jail.
