Incident with BB gun at farmer's market (UPDATED)

An incident near the Bypass Farmer's Market at Hamilton Bridge Road and Dogwood Drive, in Milton today involved two vehicles and a BB gun, resulting in a pedestrian hit by one of the vehicles, according to Milton Police Department Captain Tony Tindall. Details right now are scant, and Tindall said witness stories are conflicting, but he said the disturbance began with the firing of a BB gun, "not a firearm," and added nobody was hit. In the excitement of people leaving the scene, he said, someone was struck by one of the vehicles. "A witness saw him go up on the hood of one of the cars, and as the car turned, they slowed down and let him off and then took off…As far as we know there are no injuries," he said.
