Pace resident killed in Pensacola motorcycle incident

Timmothy D. Showalter, 26, of Pace was fatally injured following a motorcycle incident in Pensacola on Tuesday night, according to a press release from the Florida Highway Patrol.

  According to FHP, Showalter was traveling northeast on Barrancas Avenue, near Olde Barrancas Avenue, when his Yamaha motorcycle collided with a curb and a large sign post. The collision, which occurred around 8:30 p.m., caused Showalter to be separated from his motorcycle.

FHP is still investigating the incident.
