Dear Editor,
It is very clear that all the "downtown" development people want is to promote the river for their personnel gain. They care nothing about the merchants that have been in business on Highway 90 for years. The bottleneck that is "downtown" has been impeding traffic for many years. It will not get better by building a new courthouse in the middle of a bottleneck. Tear as many of the old buildings down as necessary to four-lane Highway 90. This little town sure has some selfish, self centered people.
