Clinton runs! Now Does She Run From or To Obama?

Hillary just announced that she is running for president. So when she tells you, don’t forget to act surprised!

Change is in the air. We who disagree with, and voice reasoned objections to, the liberal presidential policies of the Democratic Party can soon stop being called racists and instead can look forward to being called sexists.

Hillary Clinton's relationship with Barack Obama has always been like her relationship with her husband: one of political ambition and necessity rather than genuine respect. There is no love lost between the Obama and Clinton camps, but Hillary now has to decide whether to run with Obama or, given his lack of popularity, against him.

Her marital bargain with Bill Clinton is well known, and her tense relationship with Barack Obama is similar. Hillary got her annual audience with Obama at a recent lunch, where she presumably cut her deal. It was an intimate affair, just those two and their food tasters. Of course Hillary demanded a private server — from her home.

In her 50,000 thousand emails that she hid from us while she was Secretary of State, not a single one was to Bill or Barack. She deleted 30,000 of her "personal" emails, serving as judge and jury on what should be available to the public under certain subpoenas. Many believe it was obstruction of justice; the rest know it as classic Clintonian obfuscation.

I guess I have deleted 30,000 emails over the years, but they were all Linkedin or Canadian Viagra solicitations. Hillary Clinton learned to wipe her server clean for safety. She got the idea from Bill after an encounter with a waitress.

Obama and Hillary need each other. She needs his support in the African-American community, and he needs her to protect his feeble legacy. Obama is in an unenviable situation with the Clintons.  He has to do them a favor first (campaign) and then expect them to treat him well later. Good luck with that.

In a recently leaked memo, the Hillary Clinton campaign grappled with what to do. They looked at Obama’s policies, polling numbers and legacy, and did not like what they saw. And when asked to detail their “perfect candidate” in a CNN poll, 60% percent of respondents wanted the next president to change a majority of Obama’s policies.

Polls say that people like Obama personally but do not like his policies. My gut says most people taking a poll from the liberal media are afraid to say they don’t like Obama for fear of being labeled as "racist" by CNN. This is how the left works, not by reason or logical persuasion based on empirical evidence, but by intimidation and personal attacks on those who disagree.

So far, Hillary’s campaign theme seems to be that we have not had a woman president yet, and she is a woman—so elect her. She is currently only running against herself, and she is losing.

If she can intimidate any fledgling Democrat primary challenger like Elizabeth Warren or Vice Groper "Jumpin' Joe" Biden, she will go into the general election unruffled and flush with cash. I’m convinced Obama made Joe Biden VP as an example to all of us of what would end the notion of white supremacy forever.

She should be able to stop any uprising in her party. As her "husband" Bill would be quick to tell you, “If there is any woman who can quickly stop an uprising, it is Hillary Rodham Clinton."

To win the presidency, Hillary must fight history. Since the two-term presidency limit began in 1951, there has only been one same-party president who succeeded a two-term predecessor: George Bush the elder, whose single term followed that of the popular Ronald Reagan.

The Democrats really need her, and Republicans want her to run. She is more moderate than Obama and about as sneaky, which will serve her well. And we have some nostalgia for the Clintons; if Hillary is elected we can, for the first time in 16 years, call the president a communist and not actually mean it.

After eight years of wars of choice with Bush and eight more of the racial payback and high taxes of Obama, America might just want to get back to the good old days of seeing what Bill Clinton can get away with in the White House.
