According to a press release from the Florida Highway Patrol, a medical seizure caused a Saturday traffic incident on State Road 87, near Farrington Road, which involved eight Louisiana residents.
FHP reports a 2010 Nissan Armada driven by Warren Floyd, 45, of Deridder, Louisiana was traveling south on SR 87 when Floyd became unresponsive due to a medical seizure. The vehicle then went onto the grass shoulder and into a tree line before striking a large pine tree and then overturning onto its left side.
Listed with a serious injury, Warren was transported to Sacred Heart Hospital in Pensacola. The seven other passengers in vehicle were also transported to the same hospital for minor injuries.
