Speak Out March 11

Thursday, 1:15 p.m.

This is Anna. The head of our country is not standing with Netanyahu, Israel, like all our former presidents and most Americans. We should always be friends with Israel because they are our best friends in the world. We are angered and disappointed in our nation’s leaders for not supporting or speaking out for Israel.

Thursday 3:37 p.m.

This is Bobby, I saw in the Pensacola paper today that they had a big write up about their prime speaker at the women’s symposium at UWF and Pensacola State College coming up. Its Angela Davis. They made her sound like she was a civil rights movement or something. I don’t know how many people would remember, but she was actually a member of Black Panthers and she was a member of the communist party and now she is a big whoop de do on college campuses. So that is about right. Thank you.

Thursday 3:53 p.m.

Hello, this is Jim.  In Wednesday’s paper, Bill Calfee said boycott the Garcon Point Bridge. That’s easier said than done.  Then he says the situation can only be addressed and reorganized by state with reasonable, emphatic and rational solution. He needs to put down what is a reasonable and emphatic solution. Thank you.

Friday, 2:30 p.m.

Postal employees get slammed all the time. Everyone has a story. Here’s mine. Mailed a package at Christmas. Comedy of errors. Wrong address. No return address. Threw insurance receipt away. Guess what?  Package never got to the intended receiver. Wonder why? I felt dumb. File a form three weeks later to track the package down, and I thought, fat chance. Millions of packages and this one isn’t special. They brought it back to me last Saturday. Hey, postal guys you’re my heros for now. So the next time you see a postal employee thank them for the thankless job they do.

Saturday 9:25 a.m.

This is Jane. I love, love, love getting my paper early in the morning. Used to it would be here five o’clock in the afternoon. If there was a sub mail carrier around, we probably didn’t even receive it. So keep up the good work, because we love it.

Saturday 2:47 p.m.

Yes, I would like to thank the Press Gazette for delivering my paper in the morning. I enjoy getting it and having with my coffee and I know a lot people like getting it in the morning, but if they don’t they can just wait around for the mail to come, like I had to do and I would like to say that I enjoy it very much and thank you again. Kay from Pace, thank you.

Saturday 4:25 p.m.

Yeah, this is Bobby. Its Saturday and I have gotten a newspaper since you’re supposed to start delivering them. I went up there two Thursday in a row and a different person told me each time that they change me back to mail and I would get it Saturday and I still don’t have it. That’s two Wednesdays and two Saturdays, I don’t know how much more time y’all need. I don’t believe ya’ll don’t have anyone in this area delivering the paper anyway. So, thank you very much.

Sunday 9:20 a.m.

Yes, this is Brinita. I was missing three papers and I called the receptionist at Press Gazette. She got one paper for me that day and I have not read any since. She was very patient to be patient there are a few problems but they will get them straightened out. Thank you.

Sunday 11:16 a.m.

Yes this is Joe, I went to a birthday party at Carpenters Park the other day and the main pavilion and the one below it, it was extremely disgusting. The tables was awful, filthy. The floor was filthy and it was extremely ugly graffiti written on the tables. Thank you, bye.
