It’s Tony in East Milton. I wish Mayor Meiss luck. It’s clear that the Historical Society is controlling everything. We all continue to live in the past. Milton needs to get unstuck in time and move forward. Please take a drive to Water Color and see their town square right beside a main road. Remember, an old building can be dismantled, moved, and reconstructed. It’s not the dirt that it’s located on. Milton, with an interesting town square, would be a very different place with room for a road, a bridge, a river front, and a courthouse, too. But please to do something to create a future, Mr. Meiss. The Historical Society only looks backward and we’re all stuck going nowhere.

This is D. I know everyone has heard the saying, “write your congressman” or “call your congressman.” Well, in this area, that’s not available to us veterans. Our calls and letters seem to end up in the same place as Santa Claus letters.

Yes, I’m a senior citizen and I say buck stops for education and Campbell’s labels for education and I was wondering if there are any schools in the Milton area collecting them and if not, why not? Thank you.

Hi, this is Bonnie. This mess that Obama is incorporating and letting illegal aliens across the border, giving them social security cards, letting them into our welfare system, letting them get free healthcare and food stamps. Yet, some of us low-income senior citizens can’t get food stamps, free health care, or help at all. Am I the only low-income senior citizen that sees that something is wrong with all of this? We need help also. Yet, we are told making less than $1,000 a month we are making too much money to get food stamps or any kind of help at all. Is this not right or is something wrong with all of this? Thank you and have a good day.

I’d like to thank whoever is responsible for cleaning up the garbage along Audiss Road. Great job, but already I see fast food cups along the way. Please take pride in our county and don’t litter. Thank you.

Hey, this is Dennis Dean. I wonder why President Obama and the White House are so opposed to Prime Minister’s Netanyahu’s speech before congress. Could it be that he has something to say to the American people that they do not want revealed? I hope I’m able to watch that speech.

Yes, I am calling about the Whiting Field golf course closure. It is a crying shame that they can’t keep that open. There are a lot of us in this community that look forward to playing there on the weekend. A 65 year old course, it’s just a shame to have to close it. Thank you.
