The Santa Rosa County Sheriff’s Office (SRSO) reports a Pace man was charged with 11 counts of sexual assault by a custodian, sexual battery upon a victim between the ages of 12 and 18 and 1count of lewd lascivious behavior upon a victim between the ages of 12 and 16 by an offender over 18 years of age. Reports said David Craig Colville, 35, allegedly committed the crime between the dates of April, 2011 and December, 2013. Reports said the victim was seventeen at the time of the first interview with deputies in September of this year. Reports said this was a familial/custodial relationship. The victim told deputies intercourse and other sexual activities had taken place many times since the victim was in the eighth grade, a total of three years. Colville is being held in the Santa Rosa County Jail with $280,000 bond.
