District 1 County Commissioner Jayer Williamson will take oath of office during the regular commission meeting Monday at 9 a.m. in the commission meeting room. Governor Rick Scott announced the appointment of Ryun “Jayer” Williamson as ounty commissioner of Santa Rosa County last week.. Williamson, 35, of Pace, is the vice president and chief operating officer of Williamson Electrical Company, founder and member of the Santa Rosa Young Professionals club, a member of Santa Rosa Kid’s House, and the president of the Navy League of Santa Rosa County. Williamson received his bachelor’s degree from the University of West Florida. Scott appointed him to fill a vacancy created by the passing of Jim Williamson, his father, for a term beginning June 18, and ending November 11.
