Speak Out November 3

Wednesday Nov 26 6:16 a.m.

Yes, people should step back and take a breath and read what actually happened in Ferguson with the police officer and the young man. The young man was a thug. He was huge. He had already stolen. People need to think what they would do in that situation. Read, and don’t let this media embellish the story. Thank you.

Sunday 9:42 a.m.

Yeah this is Jesse from Pace. I wanted to start off by saying I’m sorry for that kid losing his life, but you know, kids don’t listen no more. They don’t respect their parents. You can’t tell them anything. You can’t spank them. And they just don’t obey authority figures no more, so when a cop tells you to stop or not do something, don’t do it. That cop is not going to let no thug get his gun and kill him so he can’t go back to his family after work. Anybody would do it. The main reason I think a lot of them does it just so it gives them a chance an opportunity to loot and tear up stuff. The majority of them don’t care about that kid. They took God out of school. The Lord Jesus Christ, I love Him with all my heart. That’s what we got to put back in school, listen and obey the parents and give the parents the right back to do what they need to do. That’s all I got to say. Thank you.

Sunday 1:28 p.m.

Can’t our county commissioners see that if they do not build the new courthouse in downtown Milton that they are making a ghost town out of it? The town will die. Navarre, Gulf Breeze, Pace, wanted it at their convenience and  most of us that voted for the downtown location would not care if we drove to the other locations, but we care what it will do to downtown. It will kill it. It won’t affect Navarre, Pace, or Gulf Breeze. I would have voted for the 1-cent sales tax if I’d have known it was going to be built in downtown Milton and most people who voted “no” on the tax probably would probably have voted “yes” if they’d have known it would be in Milton.

Sunday 2:21 p.m.

Hello, my name’s Dale. I see in last Saturday’s paper that the Press Gazette is being sold and I just have one word of warning for the owner, if the paper veers to the left or the price goes substantially higher I will not be participating in subscription so they need to bear that in mind as they come on in here. Thank you.

Monday 1:22 p.m.

Hi, this is Joe. Most of our senior citizens watch only two or three channels on television but we’re paying an exorbitant price for either direct TV or cable and I’m wondering why our county commissioners won’t try and get a senior citizen deal with our TV coverage so we can pay for the channels seniors. Thank you.

Tuesday 10:18 a.m.

Good morning, this is Fred. I’m concerned about this garbage pickup deal where it looks like they’re trying to run everybody out of business and give it all to Escambia Utility Authority.  Once they get their foot in the door and they don’t have any competition our prices will go sky high. You know how it is trying to fight the electric company or something that doesn’t have any competition and that’s just the way it’ll be.

Wednesday 6:56 p.m.

Hey, this is Dennis Dean. Our country is being caught up so much about the Ferguson stuff in the news, I was just wondering if we’ve missed any world news due to all that coverage so I got on Youtube and I picked up three different things that caught my eye. Iran air force has attacked Isis in Iraq. Egypt has sentenced 185 people to death for attacking police. And the UN has called for Israel to give up their nukes and that was yesterday they called for that. I would not be surprised if the UN in the future calls for all Americans to give up their guns.
