Free health screenings and much more are available at the Pensacola State College Milton campus health fair from 8 a.m. to noon, Wednesday, Oct. 8, in the L.I.F.E. Center, Building 4000. The Milton campus is located at 5988 Highway 90.
Health screenings include: a simple finger prick cholesterol screening with no fasting required, glucose screening, body mass index, pulmonary function test, hearing assessment, 10-minute chair massages, height and weight check, blood pressure, bone density, stroke risk analysis, oxygen saturation assessment, breast cancer awareness and smoking cessation.
Sponsored by PSC in partnership with Santa Rosa Medical Center and Sacred Heart Health Systems, the event is open to the community and includes information booths on cancer and stroke prevention and more.
