State Attorney Bill Eddins announced this month that a Santa Rosa County frand jury indicted
William Brandon Aydelott for first degree premeditated murder with a weapon in the
death of his mother, Sharon Lynn Aydelott.
Aydelott beat and stabbed his mother, Sharon Aydelott, to death in her Gulf Breeze home
on December 24, 2013. Aydelott is scheduled to be arraigned on January 23, 2014.
Both the investigation and arrest were conducted by the Santa Rosa County Sheriff's
Office.
Assistant State Attorney Jenny Kinsey is prosecuting the case.
