Young Marine Sgt Michaela Cantwell and Young Marine Lance Corporal Makayla Martin took to the floor during Thursday's Santa Rosa County Board of County Commissioners meeting in celebration of Red Ribbon Week. The two young marines explained the purpose of the Emerald Coast Young Marines program, described the background of the U.S. Department of Justice Druge Enforcement Administration's Enrique "Kiki" Camarena Division Award the Emerald Coast Young Marines received June 5 of this year, and encouraged everyone to wear a red ribbon in support of a drug free environment.
