Pace Cheer takes first

The Pace Junior Cheerleaders of the Pace Athletic and Recreation Association recently took first place in their division and were awarded as grand champions in level 2 of the Gulf Coast Youth Sports Alliance. The squad of 29 girls recently competed against 11 other teams in Santa Rosa and Escambia Counties on Nov. 1. Their coach Beth Rohling said squad members can take what they have learned from this year’s experience and apply it to their first year of high school cheerleading.
