The following activities are scheduled to occur the week of May 26 – May 30 at the Milton Community Center:
Monday – May 26
The Milton Community Center will be closed in observance of Memorial Day.
Tuesday – May 27
8:30 a.m. to noon – Pickleball. This is a new racquet sport to the area that combines tennis, badminton, and table tennis. Come out and see what all the noise is about when it comes to Pickleball. Open to all ages and skill levels. The activity is free.
9 a.m. – Yoga: An enjoyable exercise class for all skill levels. Class is $5.
6 p.m. – Yoga: An enjoyable exercise class for all skill levels. Class is $5.
Wednesday – May 28
8:30 a.m. to noon – Senior Volleyball. This is a co-ed activity for seniors and everyone is welcome to come out and enjoy the event or look to become a participant. The activity is free.
9:30 a.m. to noon – Art at the Milton Community Center. Join our artist group who meet each week at the Milton Community Center to work on their drawings, painting, and sketches. All skill levels are welcome. The activity is free.
2 p.m. – Ballroom Dancing: Learn the popular dance steps to the Samba, Salsa, and other popular ball room dances. Class is $5.
6 p.m. – Yoga: An enjoyable exercise class for all skill levels. Class is $5.
Thursday – May 29

6 p.m. – Panhandle Writers Group Meeting: Meet with area writers to critique and offer opinions on written works such as short stories, poems, and parts of books. The activity is free.
6:30 p.m. – Line Dancing: Practice your dance steps in the Milton Community Center. Class is $5.
Friday – May 30
8:30 a.m. to noon – Senior Volleyball. This is a co-ed activity for seniors. The activity is free. Everyone is welcome to come out and enjoy the event or look to become a participant.
9 a.m. – Yoga: An enjoyable exercise class for all skill levels. Class is $5.
12 noon – Cards and games for seniors. The activity is free. Come out and enjoy games and refreshments at the Milton Community Center.
6 p.m. – Bands on the Blackwater. The City of Milton presents a nine week concert series featuring Mass Kunfuzion, a band that is very kunfuzed. With a playlist of over 160 songs. Mass Kunfuzion plays selections from Michael Jackson, Jim Croce, Linda Ronstadt, Steppenwolf, Brooks and Dunn, Carrie Underwood and that is just to name a few that come to mind besides the Everly Brothers, Eagles, and did we mention Elvis, the B-52’s, Eric Clapton, and the Doors.
