Milton High Band 3rd Annual Crawfish Festival approaches

MILTON — Great music and delicious food are on the menu for the 3rd annual Milton High School Band Crawfish Festival 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. April 21. The event features a Louisiana-style crawfish boil, children's area and vendor booths. Entertainment includes The Rowdies, Chasing Fridays and MHS Blackwater Beats Jazz Band.

The MHS Band Parent Association also will be selling its famous shish kabobs as well as hamburgers, hotdogs and Coca-Cola products. Other food vendors will offer lumpia, funnel cakes, shaved ice and coffee beverages.

Event vendors include those featuring arts and crafts and direct sales merchandise and services.

Tickets are $5 at the gate. Children age 5 and under enter the event free. Purchase tickets for minimal cost for the Kids' Zone area featuring bounce houses and activities.

The event will be held on the Park Avenue side of the MHS campus located at 5445 Stewart Street in Milton. All proceeds will be used to fund band needs, including equipment and instruments.

The event is sponsored in part by Cat Country 98.7, Amore’ Plumbing, City of Milton and Santa Rosa Medical Center.
