The first political forum at Holley by the Sea took place Thursday evening. All Santa Rosa County Commissioner candidates attended with the exception of one, Kristopher Daniel Long, (DEM), running for District 2 against Bob Cole, (REP) incumbent, Jim Melvin (REP), seated District 4 commissioner, and Wallis Lee Mahute (NPA). A meet and greet took place with the candidates each seated at a table and potential voters could approach, afterwards a question and answer session commenced. Most questions were directed to Commissioner Cole and Commissioner Melvin regarding last month's flooding.
