Navarre man arrested for DUI-Manslaughter in July crash

A Navarre man was arrested last week in conjunction with a vehicle accident in July. Keanu Medina, 19, was traveling eastbound on Highway 98 when it crossed a raised concrete median and entered westbound lanes. Medina’s vehicle struck the front left of a vehicle driven by Gregory Winter, 60, Gulf Breeze. Medina’s passenger, Eric Teer, 18, Gulf Breeze, received minor injuries in the crash. Winter succumbed to his injuries sustained by the accident August 16. Medina’s blood alcohol was 0.146. He is being held without bond at Santa Rosa County Jail and was charged with DUI-manslaughter, DUI-property damage/personal injury, failure to wear seatbelt, driving on the wrong side of divided highway.
