Lewis Funeral Home owner seeks to improve services at facilities

Mike Lewis of Lewis Funeral Homes attended the International Order of the Golden Rule (OGR) Fall Forum educational seminar held in Nashville, Tennessee on last week. Lewis and fellow OGR members helped raise money for the local Habitat for Humanity of Williamson County, Tennessee, by generating new ideas designed to enrich funeral ceremonies for families and improve their ability to help families in their time of need. For every idea raised, a donation was made to help low income families fulfill their dreams of home ownership.

"The meeting provided valuable opportunities to gather with my fellow OGR members," said Lewis. "We learned practical tips from experts in fields ranging from aftercare to new trends in funeral service. Each offered ways to revitalize funeral home’ value to their communities by providing healing aftercare programs and helping families define truly valuable funeral ceremonies. Attending the forum is a re-energizing experience which helps us to improve the services we offer to our families. We are grateful to have this opportunity to spend this time with our fellow OGR members,” said Lewis
