Santa Rosa County Sheriff’s Office responded to a disturbance at Triple Play Bar and Grill Saturday evening around 11:15 p.m. Reports said a fight broke out involving Anthony James Perry, 23, Wilmer, AL and several other customers. Deputies said employee Ronald Aaron Benfield intervened to control the fight. The fight was moved outside the building into the parking lot and continued. Reports said Perry, who had a knife in his hand, reached toward Benfield’s throat area and cut his throat. Deputies said Perry was brought under control and the knife was retrieved. Perry was arrested and taken to Santa Rosa County Jail.
