PARA Pace Blue Tee-Ball players are ready for tee-ball action in Tuesday nights Championship match-up against Tri-County.
Para Blue jumped out to an early lead and never looked back placing their first three batters of the game on base with Grant Walters batting in the fourth position and driving in a RBI for the first run of the championship match-up. Jack Taylor hit a sacrifice to center field for a RBI putting a second run on the board for PARA. The top of the first inning ended for Para Blue with an infield hit to Tri-County’s third baseman Jax Lowery who fielded the ball and tagged the runner out at third base.
Carson Baxley led off for Tri-County in the bottom of the first inning with a short infield fly to third base for Tri-County’s first out. Number four Jayden White then drove a hit through the middle of the field to put him on base. Jax Lowery had one RBI off a sacrifice to end the first inning 5-2.
The second inning saw PARA swinging the bats to earn an additional 4 runs. Carson Lowe hit a hard ball to right field for a double. Grant Walters then pushed in one RBI but then was called out him while he was advancing from second to third base and was hit by a batted ball. Tri-County turned the second out of the inning as Caden Kimbrey popped up to shortstop.
With the score 9-2 Tri-County placed their second inning lead-off batter on first base from an overthrow to PARA’S first baseman. The second inning ended with PARA leading 9-2.
PARA’S Carson Lowe drove in the first run of the third inning when he went to the tee. PARA had runners on second and third and scored off of Lowe’s hard hit to left field for an RBI. The first out for PARA was a pop-up by Camden Lee to Tri-County’s shortstop Nicholas Baxley. The top of the third ended with Gavin Rivenbark’s straight shot through the middle of the field for an RBI ending the inning 11-2.
The fourth inning began with PARA up 13-2. Carson Lowe drove in the first run of the inning with a RBI. Caden Kimbrey then nailed a hit to score two RBIs for PARA ending the top of the fourth 19-2.
Shortstop Carson Baxley started the top of the fifth off with an out against PARA when he snatched a line drive. PARA then placed runners on first and second base when Carson Lowe drove in one RBI followed by teammate Grant Walters creaming a high hit to centerfield for an RBI to end the game 23-2.
The 2014 Five Year old World Series started this past Thursday, June 20 at Gospel Projects.
