Dear Editor,
The request by a select few for an East Milton judicial center causes me to wonder if they have a financial interest in that location. The arguments one can drive west to Scenic Highway then east again to the center is hard for me to support. Likewise the Garcon Point Bridge at $7.50 round trip also defies logic when compared to the Avalon/Route 90 locations being considered. Considering the population distribution and highway structure in this county, the sites being considered make the most sense even if it will cost me some tax money. I would rather pay my money for a logically located center than pay for the development of 4 lane highways, new bridge structures, etc. to make the East Milton site work. Commissioners, there are many of us that support your effort, press on.
