The three-day Jay Tennis Tournament was held at Jay City Park on July 3rd, 4th, and 5th. 40 tennis enthusiasts enjoyed the competition and the opportunity to showcase their skills on the court. The event was organized to promote the game of tennis in the surrounding areas as well as serving as a fundraiser for the Jay High School Tennis Program.
“It was great to have such an overwhelming support from the community, “ stated Melvin Kersey. Kersey serves as the coach for the high school program. “We are hoping to continue this tournament and make it an annual event,” he continued.
