Sonya Robinson, President of the Milton Garden Club (MGC) welcomed new and returning members to the club, Friday. Every August the club’s season starts up again with the Milton Garden Club Welcome Coffee run by the overall hospitality committee and will wrap up near the end of May. The MGC is made up of two smaller groups called circles: the Morning Glory Circle and the Dogwood Circle. Notable among the Morning Glory’s programs this year will be a November 6 trip to Grand Bay Hotel to hear James Farmer, author, experienced in southern gardening, landscaping, floral arrangement, and food consultation. November 12, the Dogwood Circle will hear from member Becky Smith on landscape “do’s and don’ts”. Contact the MGC at 626-2003 for more information.
