An intense argument leads to an arrest Wednesday when a Milton man was charged with aggravated battery causing bodily harm or disability and battery touch or strike. Casey Scott Mapoles, 44, Youpon Street, Milton arrived home intoxicated; Santa Rosa Sheriff’s Office reports said and picked a fight with the victim. She said she placed her hand on his shoulder during a conversation and he pushed her hand off of him in anger. Reports said while the victim began packing up Mapoles’ clothing so he could leave the fight began. Reports said the victim told Mapoles to stop but he began to threaten her with violence and lunged toward her and hit her. Deputies report Mapoles was not cooperative when they arrived at the scene, and had an odor of an alcoholic beverage emitting from him, spoke with a slur and stumbled and swayed left to right as he walked. Mapoles was wounded with a cut about 2 to 3 inches long under his left eye and transported to Santa Rosa Medical Center. He is being held in jail with $8,500 bond.
