A win for the Jaguars

Senior Amanda Griswold keeps the volleyball in play in Central’s Monday night win against Pensacola Christian Academy.

The Lady Jaguars added a win to this seasons volleyball record.  Central downed Pensacola Christian Academy Monday night Oct. 6th at home. The game went five full matches with Central sealing the win the fifth match.

The Jaguars have four seniors on this year’s roster.  As Coach Michelle Smith looks ahead to graduation she says she will miss the seasoned direction the four have provided their younger teammates. “I will really miss their leadership,” Smith stated.

Central defeated Pensacola Christian Academy at home Monday night, Oct. 6th. The game went five matches with the jaguars pulling out a win.   “We have struggled with illness and injuries this season,” Smith commented. “That makes it so difficult to have consistence, for the girls to unite together.”

Smith is proud of the skill level of her girls. She is anticipating good things from the Lady Jaguars as they enter the last few weeks of their regular season. “The girls just have to have confidence in themselves and maintain it,” Smith added. “We have struggled with confidence and this has weakened our performance.”
