A Pensacola woman was arrested Monday after causing a traffic accident with her brother and his girlfriend on San Pablo Street in Milton, said Santa Rosa Sheriff’s Office. Delta Louise Lee, 27, was in an argument with her brother, Michael Lee, Jr. and his girlfriend who both live with her. Reports said Michael and his girlfriend made arrangements to stay with a friend in Milton after the argument began and packed their belongings. When approaching Pensacola Boulevard, reports said Delta stopped her car in front of his quickly, forcing him to go around her. Reports said Delta followed her brother on the interstate, consistently causing Michael to drive defensively, dodging her attempts to hit his vehicle and force him off the road. Deputies said Michael called 911 while traveling towards Santa Rosa County, trying to keep from hitting her from the rear as she would slam her brakes in front of him. Deputies said when he exited the interstate at Avalon Boulevard and headed south, Delta struck Michael’s car on the driver’s side. Reports said Delta continued to try to push Michael off the road. After she struck his vehicle a second time, Michael reported to deputies he drove off and hid behind McDonald’s on Avalon Boulevard to wait for deputies to arrive. Reports said when they arrived on the scene, Delta had an odor of marijuana and claimed her brother tried to loose her in traffic after questioning him about the condition in which he left her home. Reports said she told deputies he struck her car and caused the accident. Delta Lee was charged with aggravated battery and damage of property-criminal mischief. She is being held without bond in the Santa Rosa County Jail.
