Pace, Milton alums complete basic military training

MILTON — Air Force Airman 1st Class Stefon A. Hayles and Christopher M. Jeter graduated from basic military training at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, San Antonio, Texas. 

The airman completed eight weeks’ training in military discipline and studies, Air Force core values, physical fitness, and basic warfare principles and skills. 

Basic training graduates earn four credits toward an associate in applied science degree through the Community College of the Air Force.

Hayles is the son of Sylvia and Lamar Bradley of Milton and Janice Coley of Brooklyn and cousin of Samuel Coley of Brooklyn, N.Y. 

He is a 2013 graduate of Pace High School, Pace, Fla. He earned a bachelor's degree in 2017 from Belhaven University, Jackson, Miss.

Jeter is the son of Anthony C. Jeter and Stacie M. Figolah of Milton, brother of Anthony C. Jeter of Milton and grandson of Donna Trease of Milton, Elizabeth and Mark Brubaker of Murray, Ky., and Debbie Dykes of Milton.

He is a 2011 graduate of Milton High School.
