Head Start presents to Sunrise Kiwanis

Kim Patrick, left, and Sharrell Ethridge middle, shown receiving the Milton Pride tag holders from Sunrise Kiwanis President John Stone, gave their presentation of Early Head Start and the Head Start program at T R Jackson. The program is one of seven Head Start sites in Santa Rosa County schools.  Early Head Start teaches children from two to thirty six months preparing them for the Head Start program.  They have lesson plans suitable for the age group starting them on the road to learning.  The teachers set readiness goals as outlined by the grants they receive.  Santa Rosa Sunrise Kiwanis welcomes all to their Wednesday 7 a.m. meeting at Tanglewood Golf Course where all are welcome to breakfast.
