Ella Mae, the little red hen, lays her egg in a rubber tub in Grandma’s bedroom every other day. Grandma is 95 years old and allows the hen to come in and give her a present. The hen insists on coming inside at 6:30 a.m. to lay her egg bypassing both the cat and dog to do so. Straight inside she comes, through the family room, pass the kitchen and into Grandma’s room.
