The Florida Highway Patrol reported an accident, Tuesday, involving a 2010 Jeep Wrangler driven by Marlene Christ of Milton, and a 2012 Dodge Ram 5500 driven by Steven Plant of Pace Reports said the accident happened on Interstate 10 near mile marker 20 in slow moving traffic. According to the report, Christ approached Plant’s Dodge at a much faster rate than he was driving. The front of the Christ’s Jeep collided with the rear of Plant’s Dodge, after which, reports said, the Jeep caught on fire. The trooper charged Christ with careless driving, and driving without a seatbelt.
