School Bus driver fined for improper backing

There were no injuries in a school bus accident that happened at 7:30 a.m. Wednesday morning, said Florida Highway Patrol. Joyce Renae Shouse, 47, Jay was driving the school bus, stopped on Brian Street waiting to load children when Kimberly Kingry, 21, Pace stopped behind the bus. Reports said when the bus began to back up, Shouse did not see the vehicle sitting behind the bus and the bus hit the front end of Kingry’s car. Reports said the bus was loaded with 24 passengers. Shouse was charged with improper backing.
