On October 5 the June Ates Arena will host the Tie Down Roping American Qualifier. Top ranked rodeo athletes will compete head-to-head to earn a spot on RFD-TV's 2015 The American, the richest one-day rodeo in rodeo history. Beginning at 10 a.m., the open roping will be a straight 4-head roping, with the top contestant moving on for a winner take all shootout bonus round.
