If you have ever considered planting a fall vegetable garden but were not sure how to begin, join us for a three week interactive video series to learn all you need to get started. The workshop will be held Tuesday evenings from 6 to 7:30 p.m. on Sept. 9, 16 and 23 at both the Jay and Milton UF/IFAS Extension Centers. The cost is $30 per person or $45 per couple and includes educational materials.

• Sept. 9: Getting started with a vegetable garden; site selection; soil preparation; square foot gardening method
• Sept.16: Seeding and transplanting basics
• Sept. 23: Tops and bottoms for the cool season garden – lettuce, broccoli, cabbage, chard, strawberries, onions, potatoes and carrots
