Mario Alvarez was the guest speaker at the Kiwanis’ weekly meeting on Wednesday June 11 and served all present hot ginger tea which was delicious. Mr. Alvarez spoke about his life, his many accomplishments, being a citizens living in Santa Rosa County, being married, attending church, and his military service of 22 years. Mr. Alvarez strongly supports regular exercise and brought with him various exercise equipment including a jump rope and a hand weight. Currently Mario Alvarez is working with the City of Milton as a Tennis Coach to get the tennis courts located at the Sanders Street Park up and running. The Kiwanis Club of Santa Rosa Sunrise meets 7 a.m. each Wednesday at the Tanglewood Golf Club and invites all interested persons to join us for breakfast.
