Donald C. Spencer, Santa Rosa County Clerk of Court and Comptroller, would like to announce that on Valentine’s Day, Friday, February 14 wedding ceremonies will be available to residents at the Clerk’s offices. The Marriage Department hours of operation are 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Florida residents are required to have a three day waiting period before a ceremony can be performed, so it is important that you come in to the Clerk’s office at least three days prior to the ceremony date. If both parties have had premarital counseling with a registered provider, and provide a certificate of completion, the three day waiting period will be waived.
