Santa Rosa County Democrats will hold a yard sale and chili lunch on Saturday, December 6, at 5746 Stewart Street, Milton.  The yard sale will be 8 a.m. until 1 p.m. The chili lunch will include a piping hot bowl of chili served with chips, a cookie, and a soft drink or coffee.  Serving time will be from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. There will be lots of items from kitchenware, furniture, toys and baby items.  Also available will be luggage, TV sets, Christmas items, and more, all competitively priced.

To donate furniture, yard implements, tools, or other large items contact Harold Webb, 623-8040 for pickup.  To volunteer to help with the sale or for other information, contact Mary Johnson, 850-225-1725.

Newcomers Club Meeting

The Republican Club of Santa Rosa County

The Republican Club of Santa Rosa County's next monthly meeting and Dutch Treat Dinner is at Rocco’s Italian Bistro 8649 Gulf Blvd, Navarre at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, December 2.  The featured speaker will be Santa Rosa County Sheriff Wendell Hall.

Servpro of SRC and Red Cross conduct blood drive

Servpro of SRC and American Red Cross are conducting a blood drive at Oops Alley Bowling Alley at 3721 Highway 90, Pace, November 29 from 12 p.m. until 6 p.m. To make an appointment at the drive, visit www.redcrossblood.org. Photo identification will be needed at the drive. Donors will receive two free games of bowling and an entry for door prizes. For more information call 232-5866.

Santa Rosa Art Association seeks new members

Santa Rosa Art Association is putting out a call to all artists and artisans to join the oldest art association in the area. FerrisHill Baptist Church

Ferris Hill Baptist church benevolence ministry is now receiving blankets and warm bedding to be distributed to the community during winter months. Donations can be dropped off M-F, 9a.m. until 1p.m. 6848 Chaffin Street, Milton.
